First Response Training online course – you first do the First Response e-learning in the learning area of scouts.org.uk. At the end of the course at the top of the screen will be a button you click to get your completion certificate you must screenshot this and send it to the Group Lead Volunteer. They will then log you have done the e-learning and forward this to County for them to also log.
Central Yorkshire County First Response Courses Training Calendar https://www.cycscouts.org.uk/adult-support/training-calendar/
Some counties offer First Response Training you complete after the e-learning on a Teams call which may be more convenient for you. These also run on week nights. If you choose this route you must forward your completion certificate to the Group Lead Volunteer and will then need to attend a short 45 minute face to face session the GLV will help facilitate. You have to demonstrate adult and child CPR in person.
First Response Conversion Courses for Those with External Qualifications – you may be asked to complete this short course even if you have external first aid qualifications – you access this on Scouts.org.uk in the learning area – search for First Response Conversion Course.
